Each year we have a variety of volunteer veggies such as chard, onions and these beautiful allium. I’ve walked past these blossoms too many times without making a photograph, all the while I’m thinking about my approach and my composition. …On this cool morning the sun seemingly rose a little extra early. The sky was clear and I needed to work quickly. Thankfully our chicken barn provided a little extra shade even though it’s all the way across the creek.
I just love the radiance that comes from this subject. The color is radiant. The flower buds are radiant. And of course, the pattern the little stems create are radial, making for a glorious explosion of color.
This print will make a lovely addition to your home or office. And with the consistent sizing from month to month it will be easy to update your space each and every month.

Once the edition is sold out this photograph will not be made available again in this size. It may be available in other sizes, but the edition is for this size only. I reserve the right to make additional artist prints of the photographs for training purposes and they will be destroyed once training is completed. I also reserve the right to make up to 5 artist prints for my personal collection.
