Aug 31, 2022, We now have our first assignment!
Please watch the video here for a full explanation. However, the basic idea is to have fun with a bit of color shifts in your image making. Start out by:
- Shooting a new photo or two, or dive into your library.
- Process it “normally” however you’d normally process the image.
- Then think about an alteration in color you might like to play with. Warm something up, cool something down. Whatever.
- The specific technique you use doesn’t matter. Feel free to use any technique to alter the color in some way. We will certainly be asking you what you did, do please do remember what technique you used. But if you’re wondering if it’ OK to use [fill in the blank technique] the answer is “yes!”
- Submit it for review during our next live session which will happen on September 8, 2022.
- We’ll discuss the results with a focus on HOW the image is altered with the changes you made.
- Be subtle, go wild, it doesn’t matter!
